WorldNET 2003: 19th-20th July
Latest News:
CPIFC will be taking a strong squad to Leeds again this year, hoping to improve on WorldNET 2002 where they finished
in the top 8.
The team will be travelling up on the 18th of July for the tourno and staying at the luxurious
Leeds Hilton for 2 nights.
Our group opponents this year are Fulham, Hull City and Exeter City. It will be tough,
but we're expecting to triumph!

CPIFC: A Brief History...
The Internet leagues have been up and running since the early nineties however
Crystal Palace, south London's finest, didn't have a team until Summer 1999 despite
having a considerable fanbase.
In the face of our club going down the pan thanks to
Ron 'Mr Burns' Noades, Mark 'not really a Palace fan' Goldberk and Terry 'charlatan'
Vegetables we fans have bonded together and summer 99 saw the birth of the team.
Oisin of the BBS suggested an inter-club tournament for fans of the 4 south London
clubs (that doesn't include Chelsea, glory-hunters take note) and Anti-Addick picked
up the gauntlet to organise the first 'South of the River' six-a-side tournament at
Monks Hill, Croydon which saw the fans of Palace, Wimbledon, Charlton and Millwall
clash and decide who was top dog south of the Thames.
The next stage was to organise a full 11 a side match which was played in
Mottingham between Charlton IFC and Crystal Palace IFC.
A Message From The CPIFC Team....
The players of Crystal Palace Internet FC would like to extend most sincere thanks to Simon Jordan,
the Chairman of Crystal Palace, for his support and sponsorship of the only Palace supporters team
by supplying us with a fantastic, brand spanking new, shiny full team strip. We would also like to
thank Phil Alexander for his help in authorising it so quickly and finally to Rena Wood and Ashley
in the club shop for the logistics and printing.
Thank you all very much, it looks great and we love it!
UP THE PALACE !!
We proudly represent Crystal Palace FC in the Internet Football
Association.
