19/06/02:
The draw for this year's competition has now taken place. Palace are in Group 6 for the initial stage, facing opponents Manchester United, Dumbarton and Norwich.

Dumbarton are last years runners up, but their league performance this season has been poor. In the GB League they are in 58th place, played 3 away, 2 losses and a draw, scored 8, conceded 21. In the Scottish league they are 17th of 19 with the same record. Norwich's last league match was a 9-0 home loss to Charlton. Manchester United's record was poor last season but haven't played at all this season. Palace should expect to win their group!
